COBRA accelerates the password recovery by receiving password information transperently from the recovery application and then performing key calculations at a fraction of the time it would take the fastest PC to calculate them.
Cobra's special focus is on hard-to-crack algorithms used by RAR or Office 2007 file formats, where the recovery process is very slow when using only Software Solutions even with high end PCs. |

Features
- Scalable: User can stack up to 4 Cobra units ("cell")by using the Cobra expansion slots
- Power: Requires only one power supply to power one "cell" with 4 Cobra units and one USB connection to a PC. User can gradually add acceleration by multiples of 2, 3 and 4 Cobra units as needed.
- Increasing performance: Multiple Cobra units or "cells" can be connected to a single PC using more than one USB port or using a USB HUB. This allows even greater increase in computational power as every unit or "cell" increases performance.
- Office 2007: Supports Office 2007 with acceleration of more than 2000 passwords/sec per unit.
- Updates: Cobra units or "cells" can be easily update with new algorithms as they become available using the USB interface.
- RAR file format: Supports RAR password cracking algorithm with an average acceleration speed of 300-500 passwords/sec per unit. Since RAR password cracking algorithm depends on the length of the password, the PRTK application sends different password lengths to Cobra. Therefore the passwords/sec acceleration speed is referenced as an average.
- No additional fees to use Cobra with PRTK and DNA: AccessData PRTK and DNA are "Cobra ready" therefore no additional charge applies. Users who already own these AccessData products and have a current subscription can upgrade for free.
- SATA or IDE Drive Blocker: Cobra units can also function as SATA or IDE* drive blocker
