Based on the latest standard specification v4.1 from the MultiMediaCard Association (MMCA) with a full x8 bit data width, ATP MMCmobileTM cards will initially allow for transfer speeds of up to 20MB/s read and 15MB/s write, with speeds continuously growing closer to the 52MB/s threshold as flash technology improves. This means snappy picture and video shooting with your megapixel camera phone and fast multimedia file transfers to and from your phone.
Successors to the universally adapted RS-MMC (Reduced Size MultiMediaCard) standard cards, ATP MMCmobileTM cards offer full compatibility with new MMCmobileTM and MMCplusTM devices, as well as backwards compatibility with SD/MMC and RS-MMC devices. ATP MMCmobileTM cards also offer dual voltage capability, allowing for compatibility with devices such as Nokia 6630 and 6680 smartphones requiring DV RS-MMC.
ATP MMCmobileTM cards follow the ATP tradition of industry leading durability and build quality. Designed for the most extreme interpretations of “mobility”, they are built with ample protection from water, dust, ESD (electro-static discharge), and an extreme temperature range of -40 and 85 degrees Celsius. In addition, they can take a reasonable amount of physical abuse. These memory cards will withstand any abuse your phone can and more!
