The Mag EraSURE™ is  fast, quiet, and reliable.mIt operates automatically via a single push button, has a reduced cycle time of just 15 seconds. Actual Degauss time is less than one second.
The Mag EraSURE has the highest degausser rating on the market. It will erase hard drives up to 5300 oersted and magnetic tape up to 2600 oersted. Perpendicular recorded disk are erased up to 4200 oersted.

The Mag EraSURE is ideal for the fast erasure of PC hard disk drives and back-up tapes containing confidential or highly sensitive information. The Mag EraSURE leverages leading-edge technology, using a rare earth permanent magnet to degauss all magnetically recorded data.

The Mag EraSURE degausser erases media by passing it through a large magnetic field. The unit's mechanism will either work electronically through an AC power socket or in the case of power failure a hand crank is supplied to allow the user to manually operate the unit. Operating the unit in this way can take only 15 seconds for the entire degaussing process.

Operation

Featuring one-touch operation, the Fujitsu Mag EraSURE™ is extremely user friendly. Simply insert the drive into the degausser, push the button. and the device handles the rest. If not power is available the Mag EraSURE™ can also be operated manually via a crank handle.

MagEraSURE is listed on the NSA Degausser evaluated products list as well as meeting all DoD requirements for degaussing recorded data on hard disk and tape.
