Series II hard drive shredders will shred most standard rotary hard drives, copier hard drives, backup tapes, DVD's & assorted e-waste on or off site. These shredders may be stationary or placed in trucks for mobile hard drive shredding.

Series 2 hard drive shredders consist of two models that are available in our recommended 1.5″ shred width. The AMS-1000HD is also available in 3/4″ and 1″ shred widths. All Series 2 hard drive shredders are manufactured in the U.S. and can be stationary or placed in trucks for mobile hard drive shredders. They are slow-speed, high torque dual shaft shredders made from solid steel. All models are industrial shredders that require three-phase power.

Series 2 hard drive shredders include an output conveyor that can be substituted for an infeed conveyor on the 10 HP stand model, which has a drop-down discharge. The AMS-1000HD was designed to bridge the gap between Series 2 and Series 3 hard drive shredders. It has a more robust drive train, bigger bearings, and larger diameter shafts and cutters. It is our response to the continued advancement of denser hard drives.
